70 pages. 120 photographs. Upgraded Website Glencoe cottage

This lovely pic of the cottage was taken by 17 year old - as he was then - Jake Bench at Christmas last year. He is going to be a pro photographer I think, and he will do really well. He sent us several. I'm hoping he has got some more from this years stay, but it was wetter.

You can see more of his shots in our new upgraded website. Took a few weeks of great pleasure to do. I've used plenty of photographs from our guests, with their permission.

WEATHER ODDITIES
I've also put up some new pages, many about the weather in the area. We have a weather station down the road at Dunstaffnage.
Bet you didn't know that in Glencoe in a normal year they get about 10 feet of water - that is a tropical rainforest level. But at our cottage, only 4 miles away over the hill we get less than half that.
Did you know that part of the West coast is semi tropical and they grow Mediterranean shrubs? Inverewe.
Part of Scotland as as dry as the English average.
The West coast is warm, East coast is cold. Yet you rarely get snow on the road outside our cottage? Its the Gulf Stream, warm water in the sea-loch outside our door, and all that.

THREE NEW PAGES FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS.
Glencoe is a Mecca for photographers.
John
