2 otters, the Lost Valley, good weather, Glencoe. Wow, how good is that!
This must be one of the nicest photographs we have been sent. Photographs are so much better when there is someone in them. Hills and rocks are ok, but not a patch on people. Lovely pic Natalie, thank you..
Hi John,
Glencoe was lovely. We really enjoyed it and were so lucky with the weather.
The bits we enjoyed the most were visiting the Lost Valley which we did on the first day (sat there for ages in the sunshine). On the one less sunny day we had we got a ferry from Oban over to the Isle of Mull and took a tiny steam train down to a beach. Amazingly while on Mull we saw 2 otters! one we watched for ages as it ate a crab and came up on shore.
The garden was really nice too and we found the cottage a comfy and cosy base from which to explore (we were a bit unsure about the bath) You are right, it is a cottage bath to fit in the space. When the cottage was built, all these facilities were outside!
Thanks again, Natalie
